All that can be said is that you will be greatly missed, Soho.
I stood and watched on many occasions as you were the first to welcome people into the fold, just as you did when I first met you fifteen years ago.
Presumably you will now grace the Roof with your in-match comments and observations, live from your armchair.
(We have all been warned!)

Cheers, Filbo - got to say some of my greatest awaydays have been down your neck of the woods in Lewes with you welcoming us with open arms.
 
Such a shame G, but I can understand your reasoning. Lets hope we can meet up at the London games next season, and hopefully I can get down if Hackers sorts a kitten herding event during the summer or next Christmas.

I hope you get your mojo back mate but I fear once you go cold turkey there’s no going back. Completely understand though.
 
Will be sad not to see you in the secret pub pre match G, but I sort of understand your reasoning. Personally I cannot do without my football fix & although I pop along to selected lower/non league games now & then I could never properly support another team.
Will you be going to see any of the smaller clubs in your Manor? Greenwich Borough or Fisher perhaps?
 
Daughter lives round the corner from Whitstable Town F. C.
She's been going to watch them a lot. They have made it to FA Vase Final at
Wembley.
She asked if I wanted to go to Wembley.
I can't bring myself to do it.
 
That's a real shame Soho, I must be nuts but I didn't stop my auto renewal. If I see you at the Southampton or Ipswich game I'll get a half a Lager and Lime or what ever you Cockerknees sip.... real shame the heart and soul is being ripped out of our club 😞
 
Very sad to hear it but completely understand.
If you ever fancy going next season I’m sure they’ll be many to produce a ticket from somewhere. That includes me. Take care G.
 
Foolishly my 92 year old mother (her birthday was yesterday) told me to renew my ST.
Not sure it's the right move but it's done now.
I am sure I will miss a few games with all the silly KO times.
Don't blame you G with all the travelling you have to do.
Double relegation in our house for my wife and I (Leicester and Plymouth) 😔

You won't need a st for a good few years yet. Tickets will be plentiful. Our decline has set in and no one can see it reversing.

Just a shame it had to end on such a fucking whimper.
 
Trouble is - as an OAP season ticket holder I can still insist on a season ticket card.
But if I just try to buy a single match ticket in future I suspect the only offer will be a digital ticket on my phone - not for me!

If they follow what Leeds are now bringing in - possibly others - you won't be able to do that either. If you miss more than x games they 'will not be inviting you to Renew your season ticket'
 
SE and I mentioned this a while back re manure doing the same thing – from where some ops cunt has just joined us, doubtless with a hatful of similarly wanky ideas that impressed whichever twats interviewed him.
It really does feel like the end is nigh for many of us.

I’ve not renewed too , ditto to first 3 things . Never enjoyed it after cup final when youngen moved away , done 50 year 74 to 2006 with mates great laughs h and away and 2006 to 2021 with said lad and can’t believe what we saw together,last 4 now n then with him but rarely. Glad to go but I’m hopeful football will come back to the real supporters 🙏🤝✌️if not so be it. 🦊

Seems unlikely as they’re now allowing us to sell on 10 games a season to friends or the club.

If you don’t mind sitting in The Kop next to the submariner you can have my ticket for a few games should the urge to return prove overwhelming.
 
End of an error, sorry era, George. Been a great ride since I first met you in the Gateway, on your birthday, with Micky the Hoss wearing that Hoss mask!! We wont mention Hume's penalty miss that day.

Will be sure to pop in and see you when we're down in London, which will be regularly, Im sure.
 
It's a long time G and l hope armchair football will sit well, hope to see you at the Ipswich game, but l thankyou for your friendship and help over the years
