Season Ticket Prices Frozen for 2023/24.

Automatic renewal for those supporters already paying by direct debit unless you choose to opt out.

…..on sale from 26th May!
Interesting . Is this further generosity , given so few rises in last 6 years , or a gamble that if we will go down there won’t be pressure to reduce the price ?
For what it’s worth I think the price is more than fair given the prices elsewhere wherever we are.

At the bottom of the email the club says a consultation on mobile tickets is "ongoing". Anyone know how to participate in this consultation?

Or is it a case of spamming them with "no thanks" messages? If so I urge all to do it asap .

"The outcomes of this consultation and its impact on plans for 2023/24 will be communicated in the coming weeks, before the renewal period begins."

Decisions makers on it, then throw in the supporter email if you think that would help too.

Talking to a villa fan earlier today. He sits in the holte end.
He was expecting a 15% increase, taking his season ticket to just over £700.
He'll have less games than us as well 😃

When I told my Spurs ST holder ‘friend’ how much I pay for my ST the look on her face was a picture. She has three STs, over £1200 each - you couldn’t make it up😀

It does go some way to explain the huge difference in available money and our financial fair play situation.

Very basic maths here.

60,000 x £1,200 is £72 million.

32,000 x £450 = £14.4 million.

So we're in the shit because we have a load of tight arsed season ticket holders!!

Hang your heads in shame

That’s not quite what I was getting at.

Start charging £1,200 a season and there will quickly be less than 10,000 for a home game.

Would be interesting to know what the overall reaction would be to a big increase.
Villa season Tckt holder said their renewal details came through yesterday aswell.
It went up by 15% this season & it’s going up another 15% next season.
The owners have openly said that there objective is to mix it with the top 6 & to do this they need to generate more money to buy players that can achieve it.

They can have Bertrand and Vesta with pleasure

Yes but presumably they have to pay some of this back each year.
Taken from Wikipedia Levy indicated that the stadium build had cost £1.2 billion.[244]

What a load of old tosh the directors are saying. Let’s say 30000 ST pay an extra £100. ( it’ll be less). That’s an extra £3m. In other words paying just one new free transfer £60k/week. They’re hardly going to touch the top boys doing that.

Every club owner has seen us mix it with the big boys and wants to emulate us. Since Newcastle were bought the task is even harder than it was just a couple of weeks ago.

It really isn’t that easy to do.

For Villa, I hear they are looking again at redeveloping that small end to increase capacity. I read they want 50,000.

Whilst it is true that gate income is not much of a factor in overall income, it is upfront and predictable,
the sort of language favoured by banks and creditors..
