Rothesay Game 4 at Grace Road…with the “auld enemy” in town!

Had to leave at tea. County beat the bat a few times in the early overs but Notts well in charge on what looks like a great betting wicket. Can't believe we put them in especially as we have scored heavily in our last two away matches.
 
Self inflicted. We are not strong enough as a bowling attack in this league, especially on a good wicket. Our strength is our batting which makes today's decision baffling.
 
Day2 - your genial local correspondent will be setting out shortly to be at Grace Road in person today. My apologies in advance if my usual “bulletin’s” become a little more “sporadic” as the day (and the beers) wears on!
 
Interesting that our best bowler on the day yesterday, Green (3-88), couldn't get into the Somerset 4 day team.
 
Just need to hang in there today.
The weather looks wetter going into Sunday and Monday.
