I’m sat in a pub having a beer and reading the I newspaper which has a small article about Rodgers saying he’s against the whole pay per view thing, as you’d expect from the club who voted against the whole thing.

He’s also criticised the international calendar due to it taking players out of his squad bubble where they can be monitored.

I totally agree, the Nations League should have been scrapped, it’s a load of rubbish anyway. Also friendlies until the spring on the run up to next summer’s Euro’s.

Another article has Guardiola moaning that De Bruyne only had 8 days off this summer. Well you know what no club had a long close season, nobody was forcing them to compete in the Champions League either. It’ll be the same next summer too given the European Championship.

I'm still expecting Little Wes to test positive, seeing as three or four of his France u21 team-mates have.

No rest this summer. Euro 2021 next summer. World cup in 2022. Players won't have a rest until summer 2023 !

Too true, hide. Too true.

See my piece @ Vardy. Not confident. (Unless we get it right of course, and we can.)
