Rodgers in or out ?

I've been sitting on the fence....But after the Forest debacle he comes out and says what he did.Now a couple of days ago he says he didn't know the state of our finances....i don't buy that.

I’m sure Dyche will get us playing entertaining and attractive football.
Someone needs to, before we all lapse into a coma. I hope, against hope, that our team come out of the blocks, playing like they did up until the lockdown suspension of the league. Im sure thats the period of entertaining, attractive football, to which you are referring. But, that was a long time ago. If they do, I will applaud them, and Rodgers. There are no excuses, as this season starts, for endless needless keep ball in our own half, or one goal after another flying in at set pieces, or injury time meltdowns. No defending a one nil lad for half an hour, replacing forward players with yet more centre backs, things like that are tactical, so down to the manager. We should field a very strong side on Sunday, not one decimated by injuries, so if we dont get your entertaining, attractive football, and a win, its on coaching, nothing else.

Why don't you buy that. I bet a lot of managers don't know the state of finances, after all it's not their job to deal with financial matters.

I might buy it but it came as a surprise to me. I had expected that at the start of the season and at points thereafter the hierarchy of a club would sit down with the manager and talk about targets for the season and implications of either hitting or missing those targets. But there's a balance to be struck, for example thinking of how that might create pressures that impair the ability to meet targets.

On the coaching or nothing else
Apart from the blindingly obvious fact that Brentford might play better than us on the day

Fair enough G. I can take losing to the better team, but insist on being awake, during and after the game.

In. But when he does eventually go I'll only be happy if we can get the Dream Team of Mark Robins and Wayne Rooney as replacements.
