I didn't know they were English. Always just assumed they were Scandinavian as they were so dreary and unremarkable. They were likely worse than Dire Straits.

But not as overrated as the teen pop of the Dave Clark 5

I think you'll find the DC5 was underrated. True artists are never realised in their own lifetime.
