Moonlight is reflected light, not reflected heat.
Clouds reduce heat transfer at night and increase air temperature.
Cloudless nights (when the moon is visible) are colder and have more heat transfer, but that effect is reduced in the shade.
It is why a cave is warmer at night.
Only guessing...
