Real Ale Twats

No, only a short walk away Hales Bar. It’s a quirky old place with gas lights in the roof and gas cigar lighters on the bar. I’ve been up here for work. I had two in Roosters tap room just near to the office and a pint in Hales then hit the sack after a bit of scran.
Was the barmaid with the big hands and deep voice working?

Big ugly blokes (mostly single) who like rugby union, with beards, wearing slogan t-shirts in summer & duffel coats in winter who constantly slag off any carbonated drink & have a whiff of stale body odour.

Just a gereralisation, like.

I don't know it - don't know why it's not caught my eye as I used to go to Harrogate quite a bit.

Real Ales you rarely see from the 80’s.

Courage Directors
Ruddles County
Bass
Dorchester Bitter
Get Bass round here but it’s not the same since molson coors took over the brewery at Burton.
More noticeable is Brew XI don’t see that hardly anywhere and if you do it’s a shadow of its former self.
Used to be a favorite of mine in in nearly every pub in these parts.

Eldridge Pope finished years ago, loved their Royal Oak 😟

Back in the old secret pub after the game, the governor seems a good chap and knows his stuff.
Stood his ground when I took one back which in hindsight was just the elderberry flavor I didn’t like.
Fair play and got some right good ciders on also, need it after the sideways back passing display again.
