Going baggies on Saturday. Getting the train from Narboro. Anyone know which station to head for, from New Street. Sandwell and Dudley, or The Hawthorns? Gracias.
 
Last time we went to New Street.
Then from snow hill to the hawthorns on the metro
Snow hill not far from new st.

If you're getting on at Narborough be prepared for a sardine like standing only journey, train gets rammed whenever we play in Brum.
 
Train or tram from Snow Hill to The Hawthorns.

Plenty of decent boozers between New St station and Snow Hill too.
 
Happy memories walking from Smethwick Rolfe Street station to the Hawthorns. A few pints in a pub half way up the road. Return journey was usually interesting.

I remember one well getting off at Rolfe street completely hammered and having a laugh a minute, we'd been in the real ale tent at the Abbey Park show all day and just decided to go. We'd have been nicked 10 times if it was present day !
 
Basically get the Cross Country train into New St then follow the signs to Snow Hill Station (not far) then train or tram. Or walk out of the shopping area and get on the north bound tram, (less walking) the tram goes through Snow Hill on it's way to Wolverhampton via West Brom

No East Midlands Railway trains as I understood it but Cross Country between Leicester & Brum are running (but will probably be even busier than usual given that EMR aren't running).
