Rangers in Seville

If 30,000 went from Frankfurt to Barcelona and 25,000 in the stadium, how many Germans will be in Seville too?

It’ll be carnage but would also be brilliant to be there.

Remember rangers in Barcelona , there used to be in the nou camp a full length picture of those sweaty socks charging the police, all other nations got pictures of footballers, the UK got them twats. I complained, doubt if owt got done.
anyway, can't see anything going wrong.

I reckon there will be at least 100,000, my rangers supporting mate is going with no ticket, he cannot believe they have got this far and reckons it won’t happen again in his lifetime, people coming from OZ, Canada, etc, they are fanatics.

If it were Leicester City in the Euro final I am sure you would also find people coming from Oz, Canada etc
They are no more fanatics than us, they’re just from a bigger city so there’s more of them…..and importantly, they are currently inspired by what’s happening with their football team

We have far, far more followers and likes on social media than Rangers, but nowhere near the fanatical support.
It's all driven by the Celtic and religious rivalry.

The Rangers hierachy are pleading with the fans to behave themselves, they've had Graeme Souness record messages pleading for good behaviour. Given Rangers fans history of smashing up their own city, Barcelona and Manchester, plus the fact Celtic fans got a UEFA and FIFA award for their behaviour in Seville in 2003, there is a lot of fear they'll further add to that list of shame.

I was in Barcelona when Frankfurt were there, they were sound, but there was nothing to fight against. They're loud and just as fanatical.

As I recall in Manchester there was a big screen in Picadilly Gardens for those without tickets. The technology failed at some point and the screen went blank, which set the Rangers fans into a violent rage. Then when an engineer turned up to try to fix the problem, they pelted him with bottles - which of course meant he couldn't get the screen working again.

That's taking things onto a whole different level.

I think they’re opening one of the other grounds in Seville. Holds 60,000 tenner a ticket to watch on big screen.

That Calvin Bassey we let go had an outstanding game.

Not sure there was the 100k the media made out. The other stadium was pretty empty.
