Randers roll call?

If no-one visits the Elvis Museum, you've all failed in life.

The museum was opened on 14 April 2011 by Henrik Knudsen [da]. The official opening took place the day after by the mayor of Randers Henning Jensen Nyhuus [da], the American ambassador James P. Cain and singer Suzi Quatro.[1] It is twice as big as Graceland in Memphis, of which the outside is nearly a direct copy.[2]

The museum has a collection of about 6,000 pieces,[3] with an estimated value of 1.5 million euros.[2] Next to that, a restaurant in American style and a fan shop have been established.[3]

Memphis Mansion is in the top 50 of Danish attractions.[3] In 2015 it attracted 130,000 visitors.[4]

And Daggers, please, please this time no more calling a table full of Danes “You Viking hatted, backgammon playing, bunch of feckin’ wankers” like last time in Copenhagen. They did aim a derogatory comment in our direction and fully deserved it but in the interests of international diplomacy no repeat this time please. It was fuckin’ funny though!

Can’t make this one sadly as recovering from operation but I’m sure it’ll be a top trip for those going - enjoy!!. Hope to be at the next round as long as no reverse miracle performed by the dog and duck.

My European trips are usually pretty civilised. For Copenhagen it was Scottish bar, English bar, Irish bar, German bar and a few others in between. We didn’t get anywhere near to Nyhaven.

Yep, 3 of us into Billund tomorrow night. Hire car up to Randers Thurs morning, staying in same hotel as ticket collection then off to Barry's Bar. Can't wait.
