No. We finished 2nd that season. An automatic 10-point penalty would've seen us still finish second (2 points ahead of 3rd-placed Sheffield United). Even the current 12-point penalty would still have meant 2nd place on goal difference (+33 v. +20)...
 
Got away with murder? The rules at the time didn't exist (so far as I know) to deduct points for going into admin. But the FFP episode was admittedly a little more questionable.
 
Always remember page upon page of their fans loving it and making comments when we went into administration ...... How they enjoyed that ..... Here's to "The Derby Way" ......
