Rams in administration

Just a crafty way by Mel Morris to write off his losses cause he's flogging a dead horse and can't find a buyer. šŸ˜‚

I can't stand Derby County especially after their old 1st division championship win in 1975,but these clubs with 100+years history are going down the swanny because of inept owners, I was disappointed Bury went out of business, I'm not even a fan of them but they are Football league history..... I dunno I think I'm getting old and sentimental.?

On the plus side at least the El Cloughico love in can continue in League 1 next season.

Just think of the ā€˜prideā€™ all Rams fans will feel if they manage to get that silverware back. Thatā€™s what itā€™s all about really.

Rumours are flying round that weā€™re in talks about competing for a ā€˜Holloway Trophyā€™. Will be a mini-league involving Plymouth, Grimsby, Millwall and ourselves. In keeping with the Cloughico, both finalists will be guaranteed relegation from the Division theyā€™re in.

Surely QPR and Bristol Rovers will want a piece of that glamour.

The Holloway Trophy is going to be much, much bigger. Instead of the little silver Brian on the lid of the Crappico Pot, itā€™s going to have the actual Ian Holloway, wrapped in Bacofoil.

Point of order, Bury didnt go out of business. The same club still exists at Gigg Lane, not some new Bury club taking their place. They were thrown out of the league but the original club still exists

It never rains but it pours, now UNESCO are to strip Derby of their world heritage status title.

Is there a chance that The Sheep will equal their record low total of eleven points after twenty one points are deducted?

It would put them on minus fourteen points for the season, which would leave twenty five points to get to avoid the record.

Once again a proper football club has been failed by executive mismanagement (at least) and many have suffered including fans so I find any sort of satisfaction or even glee baffling.

That would be some double. record lowest points in premier and championship, šŸ„³šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

Could be 24 points as three had been deferred til next season.

Marinakis bought the Trees with a ā€˜five year plan to escape the championshipā€™. Hopefully he will achieve it this season

Do not wish this on any Club , even the trees
Neither do I cause I love the game, but, I see no reason why they should not suffer after being relegated , languish somewhere in the Midlands League gone but not forgotten and pride park sold to Burton Albion.

And yes I hated the baseball ground but I bet allot of Derby fans wished they had never left

I do not think we will ever escape the claims that we benefited from not being docked points when we went into administration. You get it all the time from some fans. It overlooks that we did our time in the Third Division not long afterwards. Why our neighbours think they deserve to avoid a similar fate is further evidence of their delusion.
