Mac and Micky organised a Sunday afternoon family outing to the Malt Shovel in Barkby (Kendal's old boozer of choice).
We met Rob Kelly in the gents trying to have a quiet Sunday lunch.
We soon put paid to that.
He was OK though. Nice and friendly.

I used to knock about with him a bit in the mid 80's when he played for us.
We shared the same musical interests ( he was a massive Jam/Weller fan) & the politics of youth, going to many gigs together.
He even had a short lived sideline as a gig reviewer for Leicester sound, ringing them in from a phone box straight after.
