Private Hospital Near Filbert St

Turns out my window cleaner showed his Mum a photo of the Fielding Johnson Building in Regent road and she didn't recognise it at all.
Did someone say there was another private hospital a bit further away from Filbert St?

There was one on Bond Street

Bit of a long shot, but this building is listed as a Nurses Home on old maps. Aylestone Road end of Filbert Street.

I've told the caanting window cleaner that I've had a gutful of looking up old derelict hospitals and to just crack on and clean my faacking windows!

A guy was in the Highcross ‘spoons this morning while I was waiting for the lad. He had a load of stitches in his forehead that he said were being removed tomorrow. He was hit a couple of weeks ago by a Deliveroo bike in the city centre. Said he was out cold for around 10 minutes or so,taken to hospital, and had the stitches but kept in overnight while they checked for any brain bleed!
I don’t think he went private!

Where i was born.
and me , corner of causway lane , now the tax office, had reason to be called in to see them once and when the question came up "where were you born?" i said here, pointed to the floor and bust out laughing, she said we get one a week of you lot. It has a blue plaque on side , told the grandkids that was because i was born there, dont be daft was the reply.
