Polio is Back

No prizes for not being surprised at who started a thread like this.
Ssssshhhhhhh

Keep quiet for the sake of diversity eh Hackney?

Anyway, its in London so not to worry (why am I not surprised that I am not surprised as you put it).

Its forty one years since the last case.

But you went AWOL on that topic, I was waiting for a well researched reply...
Your thoughts on this topic are what exactly?

I didnt go AWOL. I simply asked for evidence of the 'Billions'. It was not forthcoming.

I am happy to support any policy that saves Billions from Public Sector waste. Start with the NHS, move on to Local Government - then follow it up with Education, then the Police, then the Courts, then Parliament (in no particular order but NHS first). And Benefits. And Immigration of course.

Anyway, your thoughts on Polio are what exactly? Do you have an opinion or are you just following the Left Wing 'shoot the messenger' policy? Or is the plan to plaint it as those damned Toorees taking us back to Victorian times....?

Have you got any evidence to share?
As I have already stated - it was a sarcastic comment.

The reason for the rise in polio is out there. Just not on the BBC.

It is rising amongst certain communities. The BBC know it but choose to not say it. It's the 'keep quiet for the sake of diversity' strategy much beloved by the left.

Import the Third World and you get Third World problems.

I'm not "plainting" anything.

My first thought on polio is that if (big if) it is making a comeback it'll be related to vaccination hesitancy rather than people's holidays (which is what I think you are saying, although it's very unclear cos as usual your posts are very light on substance).

I guess the public accounts committee is not good enough for your evidence...I'm not sure exactly what your standard is. You could always do your own research.

This thread is about the rise in Polio.

I am not aware that the Public Accounts Committee has been involved is this matter.

Please try to stay on topic- i get that is uncomfortable for you- if so then I suggest that you avoid commenting if you have nothing to add of any relevance to the discussion.

đź‘ś

At least that explains why you went AWOL. You either had nothing to add of relevance, or maybe you were "uncomfortable" that you didn't know the difference between a million and a billion.

if you wish to start a thread about the Tooreees and Public Sector Sector procurement then please feel free.

Meanwhile, Polio continues to rise due to certain sections of the community. If it is not of interest to you then why are you commenting and seeking to drag the discussion off in a different directions?

start a thread and see how it goes

Meanwhile, polio has returned after nearly 50 years. Interesting I would think??

Polio might be interesting to you, that's fine, but I'm enjoying your irritation at my refusal to follow your very clear instructions.

I don't wish to start a thread about the public sector sector.

I am however amused by your demanding manner on here, giving people orders either to follow your instruction or to provide you with the knowledge that you lack.

Where's your evidence it's on the rise? Traces have been found in sewage but that comes from oral vaccines.
