I had no idea until last night that the Gobi Desert has snow.In the spring to summer months the snowstorms of the higher slopes encroaches down into the lower barren rock region of the desert.
The footage of the Snow Leopards, mother and her young, was breathtaking and previously they have never been filmed so successfully in their natural environment before. They roam over vast areas and can survive the two extremes of temperature of one of the hottest deserts in the world and the extreme cold of the snow months!
