Top tune Rodney. As an aside I recently listened to an episode of 'Soul Music' on Radio 4 (worth a listen as a wide variety of people, famous or otherwise, talk about what a particular piece of music(of all genres) means to them - there's a large archive on catch up) about 'SOTCD' (written about Syd Barrett as any fule kno). Paul Gascoigne's sister was on talking very articulately about how much it had meant to her son who had serious mental health issues and eventually committed suicide. Very sad and moving.

I was listening to a thing on R4 the other day with various songwriters saying that, in order to survive an almost-instant knee-jerk rejection by smartphone swipers, songs increasingly need to go straight into the hook / chorus – with long tedious intros becoming a thing of the past.
Did make me think of songs like this, which I think they must have missed...
Take your time...

2.33.
Curtis Mayfield written, Tom Moulton mixed & a killer Afro.
what more could you want?
I'd love a killer Afro me. Back in the day, to paraphrase Marc Bolan, I wasn't no square with my corkscrew hair.
