PIL

Saw them in C******ry last Monday. First thing Lyndon did was calling everyone fucking cunts bless him but went on to deliver a blistering set - brilliant. For me ‘albatross’ was the highlight but he has quite a catalogue of top tunes

the only other time I saw him was at Futurama in Leeds late 70’s at a guess when he spent most of the time with his back to the audience - much better this time round.

Apparently he ‘adopted’ Ari Ups (Slits) kids because she couldn’t care for them and they were turning feral and also clearly affected by the loss of his wife Norah

not such a bad chap after all

He’s coming to Leicester next year for a Q&A session - Y theatre I think

Been to two Q&As the first was an entertaining night out but his drinking spoils it as the the night goes on. The second he was pissed when he hit the stage, lazy stereotypes being bandied around, I ended up leaving.
So glad I didn’t let that colour my opinion of him as the lead singer of a very tight band.
Shame that Religion has been dropped from the set but an encore of Public Image, Open Up and Rise takes some beating.

Bit of pushing going on down the front, he asked people to think of others and ‘stop being all Tottenham’.

It was a rousing encore indeed

One of the great voices

No Spurs insults in Cov obviously but quite a few tirades against people filming - he clearly doesn't like it!

Shame about your Q&A comments - plenty of time to decide but I don't want to pay out to watch someone get pissed

Jah wobble is currently touring Metal Box and appearing at Rescue Rooms in the next couple of weeks - not much use for you but bound to have some gigs in London

Thanks for the heads up but Wobble is doing two dates that suit me, Camden and Deal, neither of them are Metal Box.
