He looks a beaut.... he’s a Romanian Shepherd Dog, and he barks at anyone with a big white trainers and track suit. Good lad
Sorry to hear that - I’m sure we’ve all experienced the devastation of losing a furry friendWe rescued a cocker spaniel from Oklahoma two years ago. They thought he was about 8, and they called him Winston. He was the most amazing dog. Sadly he passed on Monday. We are devastated.
We got ours from East Midlands Dog Rescue in Enderby, we filled a form on most trips and they finally rang us, best phone call I ever received. He looks a beaut.
Which centre did you get him from? I'm looking for a companion for my dog, but don't want another pup. Loads have folk said a rescue dog is the way to go.
After an appropriate amount of time we plan to do so. I like to think that we gave Winston the happiest two years of his life, and he gave so much back to us in return. There is definitely a hole that needs to be filled.Sorry to hear that - I’m sure we’ve all experienced the devastation of losing a furry friend
It may seem ‘disloyal’ but you now have a vacancy in your family and there is a pooch out there that desperately needs a home
Go looking
Sorry for your loss mate. We have been there several times. We rescued a cocker spaniel from Oklahoma two years ago. They thought he was about 8, and they called him Winston. He was the most amazing dog. Sadly he passed on Monday. We are devastated.
The only info we have on him is he was privately adopted from Romania about 6 months ago but didn’t get on with new owners other dog so ended up in Animals In Need In Wellingborough. He’s a biggish dog and strong as an ox, but not as big as some of the photos I’ve seen on the web of Mioritics. He’s best described as a 3/4 scale Mioritic which is plenty big enough. Is it a Mioritic Ketterfox? Same as mine got her 3 years ago now, lovely good natured dog!
Serves him right for managing the shaggersThe only info we have on him is he was privately adopted from Romania about 6 months ago but didn’t get on with new owners other dog so ended up in Animals In Need In Wellingborough. Super friendly with humans but doesn’t like other dogs. He’s a splendid dog.
I’ve got a feeling that the pack NFP encountered in the Romanian mountains may have been Shepherd dogs just protecting their sheep - maybe Nige fancied a bit of ’sheep worrying’ and got more than he bargained for
He’s from Romania, not GreenwichIs he any good at sitting in the street under a blanket covered in piss not having had a bath for years and begging outside the San Carlo?
