Ozzy Osbourne

We must be in heaven man
Announcing his final ever show at Villa Park, what the fuck has happened to Sharon's face, she makes Katie Price look normal, thought it was a spitting image puppet

A couple of us old gits were talking about this yesterday. We were lucky enough to see Sabbath at De Mont in 78, past their prime yes but still the original line up, supporterd by a young, new and amazing Van Halen. Think the tickets were £1.25 standing. All relative of course but the issue is, just like house prices these things have risen completely out of proportion to the average working persons income and more to the point here disposable income.
This Sabbath do will be more like a carnival I reckon. So many bands on I can only see BS on for what - an hour? Ozzy quite likely even less depending on his health. All for charity so good luck to them and if you've never seen them before and can afford it then good luck in getting a ticket. I feel very fortunate to have seen most of the bands I love back in the day. The person I think of the most here is Bill Ward who has had the shit end of the stick for a very long time and I hope this reunion helps him. Fantastic drummer great bloke.

I'll stick with my memories of seeing them with Ozzy around 71 at Demont, then with Tony Martin on vocals in 89 then with Ozzy at the NEC in 2013. Hope the charities get a good chunk of money but with Sharon running the show who knows? can't really see Ozzy doing many songs, the poor bloke can hardly stand now, just hope it's a fitting end to an eventful career.

Pretty sure I saw the Tony Martin show then as well was it at Leicester Uni? Buggered if I can remember.
