Can't argue with that Scoops. If we do manage to stay up it is the re-build of all re-builds. There is no way that they would let BR do it.
 
Let's assume the Championship. We'll need a new Manager, this one will have failed. Then a case of who gets offers, obviously Maddison, Tielemans is gone, someone will take Nacho for the goals, can't see Castagne, Ricardo staying, Ndidi, Faes probably go as well. Barnes should do ok in the Championship, JJ, Thomas, Souttar, Iverson might give us a start, Daka could score if he stays, but we'll need virtually a whole new team.
 
So where is the money comming from for this rebuild? Maddison is the only one to fetch any money and with his past injury problems, who will be willing to pay our asking price.

We have to find the money from somewhere otherwise we’ll end up with a squad of about 14.

Southgate took one look at him in 45 minutes in Budapest and realised he’d made a massive mistake.

Had it not been a Nations League game and something more serious he’d have been hauled off after 25 minutes. Southgate didn’t spare him in the post match.

He’s just not up to it.
 
The good news about operation rebuild is that half the high earners will be off the wage bill, therefore freeing up the dreaded FFP that's currently our kryptonite.

One would have thought that in Top´s eyes he would go for totally undermining Vichai´s Seagrave legacy. BR´s backroom staff have turned the place into a retirement home. The recruitment team have had a mare with a procession of donkeys grazing in the paddocks on mega contracts while the coaches have ruined the recent academy graduates and lumbered us with timid , tepid football from "fearless to feckless". The club has gone from a progressively run entity following a sound strategic plan to a shambles in record time.
