Goldstone Ground/Withdean stadium
Victoria Ground
Plough Lane
Springfield Park
Manor Ground
County Ground
Leeds Road
The Old Recreation Ground

Been to all of them apart from Port Vales old ground.

When Vale Park was built it was hoped to be the Wembley of thew north with a planned capacity of 70000

Correct .....actually Leeds Road is the only one l never went to

Been on them all but am I missing something here, I thought Port Vale always played at the same ground? I just thought it had been modernised.

Without looking down the thread

Ayresome Park - went

Xxx - didn’t go

The Victoria Ground - went

Which one? Plough Lane? - never went. I think they also played at Gillingham definitely at Selhurst Park (went)

Springfield Park - never went

Edited as I pressed the wrong button

The Manor Ground - went

Xxx - never went

Leeds Road - never went

The only ground I know Port Vale to have played at is Vale Park. - went but I suspect this is the answer nobody knows.

I know the answer to Brighton and Northampton but can’t recall through my tiredness and alcoholic haze.

If I was to make a guess at Port Vale I’d say The Victoria Ground. Makes the most logical sense.

Just looked. I knew The Goldstone Ground but I’m annoyed I missed The Withdean which I went to twice. And Priestfield, Gillingham.

I now think Wimbledon didn’t play there I was getting them and Brighton mixed up.

Port Vale still play at the old stadium Vale Park in Burslem, saw Rooster Russell race clear and smash in the winner in a 2-1 win about 1992, took my son 7 to his first away game. Been to Ayresome park first one 74 abandoned floodlight failure, Victoria Park 1-0 about 83 (green and white kit - Bob Hazel) County ground - saw Northampton 7 Bristol City 1 Div 4 in 82. Goldstone League Cup early 90s I think - went again when Kevin Campbell was on loan 89/90 time, called off before KO waterlogged pitch.
