Of All The Things That Get Up My Goat

As I alluded too the other day he feels to me like Pleat Mk II

Given his apparent strong interest in team psychology and his pride in being a motivator, it is surprising how often Rodgers sends teams out that are completely mentally unprepared for the task. How often do we start games passively and end up a couple of goals down before we get started? Too often for it to be just bad luck.

This is my main gripe with him. Sure, the squad isn’t great and a rebuild is required, but the mental fragility and passivity of some of our players is deeply worrying. We have a massive game on Saturday against a team that is low on quality but will be fighting for their lives. That will tell us a lot.

He doesn't appear to be much of a man manager.
