Odds Are Plunging!

Down to 4/6 from 5/6 with William Hill now.
6 out of the 7 bookies offering odds on next Man U manager have Rodgers at 4/6.
Thats pretty short-priced for something thats supposedly just a betting gimmick.

Just another ruse to part folks from their money by people who are experts at that...
Would you swap KP for the Glazers?

If these bookies were genuinely trying to entice mug punters in to having a flutter on a mug no-hope bet they would be making the odds more attractive, surely????
Well the latest odds look like they would deter the average punter they are so short.
4/6 is not an attractive bet for most ordinary folk.

They have made the likely candidates, longer odds...

That makes no sense at all, Sixthswan.
If the bookies did artificially extend the odds of the most likely candidates - the relatives like Mrs Redknapp would make an absolute killing.

Personally I don’t think United will want Rodgers unless they have been hoodwinked by the media into thinking he’s a top manager.
Mind you they paid a fortune for Harry,
Job to big for Rodgers we are as big a club as he could manage in my opinion

I think that applies to all the managers who left us for so-called bigger or better clubs. O'Farrell, Little, McGhee, etc. None of them was successful. Maybe MON but anyone (except John Barnes) could win domestic trophies with Celtic. He didn't win in Europe or when he came back to England.

There is too much of an unsettling atmosphere within the club at the moment.
Brendan being quiet tells me he's off.
Youri showing no interest, he's gone in the summer, and others rumoured to be unsettled.
This is doing nothing for our season, and for our club.

Our club is fucked, kaput.

Wouldn't say fucked..... yet.

But after the glory years, the feeling of realignment with being an ' ordinary' prem club seems to be creeping in. That said 10 years ago I would of been delighted to be an ordinary prem club

Our 'problem' is he IS a good manager and we are fortunate/farsighted to have him.
Otherwise why is he linked with every vacancy that comes up?
He only left Celtic because he had gone as far as anyone could there.
He is in his element; proving his many doubters wrong and doing it with an unfashionable club..

Yeah but he might feel he can't take us any further? 🤔

He will fail 100% if he goes to Man U we are as big a club as he can manage without his frailties being ruthlessly highlighted.
I go as far as to wager anyone who thinks different

Maybe not!
Zinedine Zidane odds are tumbling!!!!!
Down to 5/2 with Paddy Power.
Rodgers odds slightly drifting.

Zidane with that miserable whinging team....... he had trouble at his last venue for being a strong manager can't imagine him being a popular choice amongst that team far too strict

I’d love him to go there. Match made in hell. Plus he doesn’t speak English.

Leeds – Claudio Ranieri
After the intense management of Marcelo Bielsa, who better than the antithesis that is Ranieri? Fresh from winning the Premier League with Watford and then being dismissed after three winless matches the following season, Ranieri would be the perfect man to consolidate Leeds’ unlikely position as a contender for everyone’s second team.

Leicester – Graham Potter
This list is really starting to flow now. Potter to Leicester is just such a natural next step and there’s every chance the job is vacant relatively soon in actual real life. Club and prospective manager share a desire to play attractive football and progress organically. Genuinely looking forward to when this does happen.
