Malcolm McQueen Gillespie Clarke, came on as a sub in 1965, in replacement of Derek Dougan & George Heyes, played 1 minute and never touched the ball. That was his entire Leicester City career,.

"Nogger" Knowles the Burbage lad who never got a first team appearance but sits splendidly on the pre-season team photo in Fossils & Foxes circa 1963. Had the choice of Leicester and Birmingham and Gil Merrick,Brum manager at the time, even came to his house and offered to buy his Mother a washing machine if he signed. Followed his heart and chose Leicester instead.Released after 2 years and never played professionally again. Shattered dreams!

Alan Hoult, another Burbage lad,who used to run rings around the rest of us, playing down the park, when he was just a nipper.
Signed for Leicester and used to score for fun for the reserves. Think he made the subs bench just once for the FA Cup tie at Hull City!

When Martin Allen was in charge there was a supporters club raffle in which the winner was to feature in a pre season friendly v Notts County.
Step forward 46 year old Lee Smith who came on for the last couple of minutes & managed a couple of touches.
