They converted debt into equity in the form of shares. The underlying value of each share will depend on the value of the company but that is only materially important really if they come to sell or if ever looking for outside investment, the shares are not publicly traded so their value is not at the whim of investors reacting to events (and directly impacting the value of the company) but more related to what someone is prepared to pay to own all or part of the club. That someone might be willing to pay more for a PL club than an EFL club goes without saying. Operationally it removes a decent sized chunk of interest payments. So, yes they have not paid it off but now there is nothing of those particular loans to pay off.

In the day, companies liked to have some kind of loss leader or an affiliated part of the company running at a financial loss to offset any tax bill. Not sure if that is still the case nowadays.

they are in financial difficulties as an organisation. There are major, major, assets being put up for sale, but if something or someone is depleting your stock value you have to get rid, and we all know who's depreciating LCFC's assets at an alarming rate.

l've had this thought, knowing that people like this do not leave the exit doors closed for themselves in a £50m 5 year contract. My guess is and as been that he leaves for free if we are out of all cups and in the relegation position ! Is this what they are waiting for ?

It's funny. if we win our 'game in hand' we'll actually be above them, and everybody wants rodgers gone, so why is it crazy he's been sacked? They haven't won for 12 games and are on the slide.

I gave up hope after we were embarrassed again at spurs, immediately after being embarrassed at Brighton, just after losing to a team who had 10 men for over an hour, all resulting in gaining 1 point from a possible 21. Oh we couldn’t score against Stockport in the middle of that shit show aswell.

What are they selling? Hotels?
I was hoping that with Thailand now back open to Chinese tourists tht the coffers would get replenished, seems that's not the case then.

2 Polo farms, their horse racing stock and assets (200ish horses) that l know of.

China as running lock downs and there big money came from supplying the Chinese middle class with tax savings on expensive products. As opposed to a giant bar of Toblerone and City shirt for your dad once a year.
