Not Sure I Fancy Millwall Away Next Season

Went with a Millwall mate. Kept my mouth shut.
The locals weren’t happy, Leicester dominated on this occasion
I’ve been in there before once too, not for a Leicester game though, I went with a colleague at the time. I ended up chatting with a German chap from Cologne for much of the second half. Millwall holds a bit of a fascination for some of them.

I also sat in the stand opposite when we had no official away allocation.

Yeah I remember the ‘no allocation’ match, quite a few from the roof managed to get in I think, was an interesting thread on here relating to it.
I like going to Millwall, it’s one of the few trips that still has that ‘edge’ and reminds me of the feeling I used to get following Leicester from the late 70s through the 80s.

I agree totally. There’s nowhere else like it here in this country.

It’s the cordoned bit from South Bermondsey station to and from ground that makes it so unique I think presently.
Still cringing thinking back to the cup game there in 16/17 when Chilwell was too scared to take a throw in, in front of their fans.
Think @ClaphamFox got hit with a pound coin that day. Apologies if it was someone else.

I did indeed. Pretty impressive considering I was halfway up the upper tier. Also quite generous to be fair - it contributed to my first pint at the Stags afterwards.
