OK I have bought into the Enzo evolution even though its against my basic belief of football,we are top of the League but that dont mean we cant have a say on what we see!
That last night was a very poor display we were lucky not to be 2 down before we scored it has to be the worst 1st half of football all season.
Our away end was subdued partly to being like "football in a freezer" but also the lack of urgency/ bravery and effort! We all know this League is like no other and the " phrase " a cold Wednesday night in Sheffield " came back to haunt us at the end, it was a goal that had been coming and what they deserved.
Last night showed Enzo's lack of knowledge/experience in this League, the game was crying out for something different or call it plan B but we kept on doing the same thing but with different players( where have I heard that before!)
Many times we had the ball with an option to hit the channels but we went inside and went back.
We cant have a game plan that wears the opposition out and then we swoop its just too predictable!
Something needs to change or that points cushion to third place will be gone after this heavy group of fixtures up to Christmas.
Back to last night the only player for me who had a good game was Vesterguard, Coady didn't look comfortable with the ball at his feet and the talk on the way out was when are we going to see Cannon get some minutes?
Food for thought, Enzo you are a breath of fresh air compared to the last Twat but we need something to get excited about and be entertained !
 
Forget this thought of wanting a plan b because enzo has said himself that there won’t be one.
Unfortunately yesterday stank of blind arrogance from him. To change the defence to squeeze coady in was very odd but then to also put akgun & casadei in front of them made us unbelievably disjointed.
Forget casadei cus he’s just totally anonymous but with akgun i got the impression enzo thinks he is going to be some Bernardo silva for us. He didn’t have a clue what to do.
The good coaches will take bits from everyone they have worked with but more importantly have plenty of their own ideas aswell. Everything is pointing to ours just copying everything he’s seen pep do & it won’t work.
Loads on here said that it can only get better/ quicker as the players get used to enzos ways. It’s actually so much slower it’s painful.
 
He should be strung up by his baldy bollocks and made to chant "pass the fucker forward" until the next home game.

Yep I for one presumed we would follow Burnley's path of learning how to play that way and then getting better and better as everything gelled. Its starting to look quite the opposite.

If I remember rightly Burnley had a bad result vs Boro around this time last season, and that caused Kompany to mix things up. Enzo is hardly gonna state publicly there is only one plan, is he?

We ain’t that good We had a lot of narrow wins and we have never really dominated a side
We have some bang average players, Choudry was never convincing at Watford and now seems
a go to player
We have been found out press us and we struggle to get out from the back and we are so slow
going forward
The football is monotonous and having seen the Baggies I think we could be fully tested on Saturday
Maresca already talking about a 72 hour gap between games seem preparing us for his talk post match
A very poor division and we will be reeled into the pack
Maresca ball no different to Rodgers ball and Puel ball pointless passing and no end product
I genuinely feel Maresca thinks he is a cut above this division
 
Yeah fuck this passing it about, I think we should sign their keeper, he knew how to play the game. Wave every fucker forward and hoof the fucker into the box.

I get the fact that Enzo wont entertain a plan B, but last night was crying out for something different,Sheff Wed would have planned for either Vardy or Nacho so with Cannon on the bench bringing him on would have posed a different question he has played 20 games with 8 goals so has more games and goals under his belt in this league than either Vardy or Nacho so why not give him mins?
 
I’m just reading Stanley Matthew’s biography and he says that both teams have a duty to entertain the fans. I agree.

We are deliberatley boring, I don’t feel like watching quite often. This style is getting shown up for what it is and if we don’t change everything will turn to shit very soon.
 
We're playing (or trying) the pep football, but without the multi million pound players.
I would imagine Enzo has a list of targets he wants in the Jan transfer market so fingers crossed.
 
I know a lot of people feel we have been slow since the very start of the season but I felt that at the start we were able to vary the pace of our game a lot more and it largely felt controlled with us slowing it down as much to conserve energy. It feels like we have become a little more one paced (slow) recently as well as being generally more ragged as we cough up possession far more frequently. One of the most noticeable things at the start of the season was the difference in fitness levels compared to last year (could only have improved) but that was a little odd in itself as it was a very short close season and the difference was very marked (even accepting that we had a number of new players not tainted by last season). In short I am wondering if, like Youri last season especially, we're not effectively blowing hard after only 20 minutes of a 90 minute season. If so it is going to get a lot harder.
