No TIFO tomorrow

We will just have to put up with 2 hours of singing and chanting...keep up the good work Guys

It happens to be true
I only luv the boys in blue!!

I admire your stance but this is Modern Football and the club knows full well if they drive you away your place will be filled in a heartbeat. They hold all the aces I afraid. Toe the company line or stay away.

Yeah you are bang on. A very recent meeting with them really brought this home. We left feeling deflated and disillusioned.

Sorry to be a prophet of doom but the game is not for 'the people' anymore and that is sad, so desperately sad. You can call me a cynic, a nutcase or whatever but the days of songsheets being handed out by 'the club' for patrons to enjoy the big match atmosphere are only around the corner. If you want to write anything in our December 'The Roof' Fanzine you're more than welcome. mickythehoss@outlook.com

In view of the fact that the Club (not to mention the majority of supporters) have up until now backed everything that UFS have done, what were you trying to do that the Club felt was inappropriate?

BLUE ARMY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The club really have not backed everything UFS have done. Far from it in fact. A lot has been kept in house that I feel really would damage the clubs look if they did become public.
As you asked that meeting was in two parts one about rail seating and the other a long standing desire and request from UFS to be relocated.

What was the outcome of the chat about rail seating please?

Hugely disappointing really. They are still firmly on the fence and it appears to not be particularly proactive on it. Can’t see us being anything other than being the last in the league to do it, if at all.

UFS are not relevant to the club in the scheme of things They are a very small group in the corner of the ground
The atmosphere they attempt to generate is nullified by hundreds around them sitting on their hands
Now the atmosphere generated yesterday at Elland Road was a different level no clappers, no Tifo
just good old fashioned vocal support .A credit to the league👍👍

@SemperEadem I applaud your efforts with safe standing and trying to generate a better atmosphere.

Not long after the new ground opened, I had a meeting with a few other fans and Exec Management of the club, along with the 24 carrot caaaaant, otherwise known as Kevin Barclay, who is in charge of match day security. He threw every single H&S safety clause he could possibly think of to not allow standing in L1, also citing the safety advisory board don't allow it.
He is without doubt a major obstacle in the way of rail seating. Until he fecks off you are up against it, unless you approach the relevant safety authorities directly and go over his head. But frankly, you've got more chance of finding out what he did with the daffodils than him ever assisting genuine fans to try and generate an atmosphere!

He has been gone a few years from that roll. However his replacements are cut from the same cloth.

Don’t disagree on UFS needing more numbers. Numbers are there just no space to bring them in. Club not willing to assist with this.

Not that it matters but Leeds are now all over agency tifos.
