Name a more tolerant multi-cultural Country

our canadian posters will probably set me right, but canada always seemed very cool in this respect.

That’s actually not a bad shout. The Canucks must be tolerant. I wouldn’t give the Canucks who post on here access to the internet.
Mad as a box of frogs.

Always thought tolerant was the wrong word to use, do we really only 'tolerate' people from outside the the UK coming here?
Holland always seems quite diverse but I've only visited Amsterdam.
Germany?

It’s pretty tolerant compared to many . Still a lot of racist pricks about though as there are in every country . Can do better

And all the usual suspects from both sides come on with all the usual shit.

If only we had something that we could use from our phones or PC that might gives us facts.

Give me strength

Come on then, put us out of our misery and give us your take on it.
Then we’ll all ask you to prove it over and over again.

I dont have a 'take'. Following Misterymans repsonse i spent barely 15 minutes seeking facts. I avoided all MSM 'reporting'.

i found 2 reports - one from the EU in fact that put the UK at the very bottom of the league for racist incidents. I found another that recorded the number of racist incidents by Police Force (with additional analysis).

But you stick with the Guardian for facts if it suits you

Made an assumption there.

I don't think Canada is more tolerant than anywhere else. It differs from the US in that there's no 'insistence' on conforming to a new identity: becoming an 'American'. No one here cares about that.
Depends where you go. Quebec, definitely not. They're obsessed with preserving French culture, probably the most unwelcoming place on the continent. South-central Ontario and Vancouver are giant melting pots.
More remote places going north, the Maritimes and in the prairies things can get a little.. weird. Most places are isolated and don't like change. Canada plays up the ethnic 'mosaic', but I really don't see the difference to any place else.

I do think living in a harsh climate has a lot to do with a more relaxed attitude, or reserved behaviour towards things.
