The Irish Govt were paid by the EU to cover the costs of putting the immigrants in accommodation. People moan about the cost of putting them in hotels here, their costs are being covered. The number of homeless people she talks about is a result of poor Govt policies.

Do you think local communities should have their voices heard?
As in a lot of places communities and individuals have concerns regarding these immigrants (whether their concerns are justified or not, they are their concerns) do you think their concerns should be addressed instead of them being labelled racists?

If the Govt consulted the public on every decision they made there wouldn't be much time for anything to get done. A ruling party gets voted in, they make the decisions. I can't remember being consulted when one of our town centre hotels was used to house refugees.

Fair enough, then local communities have the right to protest without being labelled racists.
