Moles

When we lived in Long Clawson the moles did the same to our garden.
I was advised to buy little toy windmills on sticks and stick them around the molehills.
Thats supposed to deter them. Though never understood how.
Still suspect I had the piss taken out of me.

I put up 2 plastic Falcons as a deterrent to bird shit. After 2 days the Pigeons were sitting next to them like the best of chums!

Works for moles too...
Wow. I've seen someone do something similar in a field to get rid of groundhogs - it's pretty spectacular. Bad idea in the back garden. Bills, don't listen to Whitwick, he's giving you bad advice.

You can get carbon monoxide/sulfur dioxide smoke bombs for next to nothing on Amazon and flood the tunnels with that. It hasn't got the romance of the Vietnam war - but your mole problem should be fixed.

My lawns been fucked by leather jacket larvae (daddy long legs).

Pesticides banned in 2016. Now we’re out the EU we can probably reintroduce them. My garden still looks like the Somme though!

I had a cluster fly infestation in the loft a couple of years ago, they clear off to the lawn in summer and I can remember spraying the lawn with something to kil their larvae.
It may have been mild solution of washing up liquid. The little buggers came back again, just a bit shinier than last time

Chuck any sort of food on the lawn to attract Starlings, they’ll eat the little fekkers
