Enjoyed our UEFA Cup trips for winning the League Cup twice.
Enjoyed our CL trips
Missed Europa but enjoyed the Europa Conference trips.

The idea that we should be 8th or 4th seems strange to me.

I'd prefer us to finish 5th rather than 8th, obvs. But we could then politely refuse to play in the wanky euro competitions. I just think they're like a Lada to a Jag, or Co-Op Bitter rather than Landlord, etc.
