Mental Health in sports "Stars"

I'm not saying some sports stars aren't affected by the pressure, media, harassment etc.

But to suddenly lose or down tools and blame mental health is starting to look like a cop out.

These younguns who are happy enough to sell their souls to be front page every other week, or constantly on social media "endorsing" products should perhaps look closer to home for the reasons why they have so much "pressure"

Michael Dawson in talksport this morning talking about footballers on social media who love the positive comments from the media and fans but hate all the negative. He said he’s not on social media personally but doesn’t understand why these “big profile” players have it if they can’t handle the negative stuff. They want all the benefits without any of the catches. That’s not the way of the world! Unfortunately, there’s always a catch.
