Mendy’s positional awareness is very good, he very rarely leaves space for forwards/midfielders to operate in, whereas Choudhury is the complete opposite - no discipline all over the place and cost us the goal/game

Mendy is one of our most improved players.
I thought he was excellent today, and was baffled by his substitution, unless he'd picked up a knock.
He vacuumed up almost everything in the middle of the park, and usually released an accurate pass to a team mate.

Choudhury gave the ball away and they scored from that. Barkley had no one within 12 yards of him from when he picked up the ball to when he shot. I thought Choudhury had meantime nipped out to the offie.
