Memorable moments as a city fan

I remember going to Highbury, the infamous Walshie own goal from the half way line(over the very surprised Ian Walker the arsenal fans couldn't believe it either I think remember there was a a delay before they cheered ) went to the toilet and another City fan came in "fook they've got more hand basins than we've got pissers!"
I remember Chelsea had even better facilities!

As a nipper standing on the Kop terrace with a mate early 70s, Greg Chapman was just behind me singing ‘I fought the law but I won’ Greg’s only a few years older than me but he looked feckin massive & scary, my mate (bit of a gobshite) was running around for some reason and knocked himself out on the crush barrier as he forgot to duck, stretchered away so I did the honourable thing and watched the rest of the game, Preston I think… Fowlpenloony 😊

Yeah, when I look back at my years as a Leicester fan apropos of nothing in particular, Highbury's toilets are the things that spring immediately to my mind too.

Leicester v Blackpool 1970, a rare treat of a 0-0 draw. end to end action from the first whistle to last

Hull away 1978 (i think) FA Cup scored with virtually the last kick to win 1 nil pure carnage in our stands. Then realising me and a pal had to get back to the station. both 15 and lippy as hell. Eventful but funny as fuck. The train home was full of Arsenal fans, but its what you go for it makes a man of you.

1963 and 1969 semis at Hillsborough. 5th and 6th rounds 1974. Beating Newcastle 2-0 1996 (my father had just died). League Cup win 1997. Don't have to mention recent successes, they are too obvious but truly great.

That 1963 semi final still haunts me I can still feel the lump on the back of my head from that bottle after Stringy scored

Burnley 82/83....celebrating promotion in the dressing room with the players. Well, until Bob Hall from ITV informed us of trouble at Derby v Fulham. I told Larry May promotion could be put on hold. By way of thanks he gave me his bottle of bubbley.
