Meanwhile in Iran ….

Main stream media are not covering the MILLIONS of Iranians on the streets calling for the King to return.

Nothing on your favourite news outlets ?

Shameful.

We have the underground media at the BBC covering it on their website (mentioning support for the monarchy) and whilst I didn't see it I believe Newsnight were doing a piece on it as their main story tonight.

The BBC are covering it now but over recent days they have avoided it - the story is now too big to avoid

Their focus has been on the US again - some 'Lesbian Poet' getting capped was more important than thousands being gunned down

Thanks for joining for us for this evening's insightful analysis I to the BBC's news coverage. We'll be back tomorrow with more from BBC Watch.

Enjoy Auntie while you can.

Some organisation are just rotten to the core and must be erased.

BBC will be gone in the next few years if it doesn’t swing to neutrality. And quickly.

Yet again, you're embarrassing yourself.

The much more likely outcome is that Elon's X will be banned in the UK. It's a poisonous place full of people like you.

For what it's worth, sat at the desk next to me at work is an Iranian guy. He's been checking the BBC website every couple of hours for the last week, not just the last few days, to get the latest news.

Which must have been frustrating for him if they weren't covering the story, but he kept doing it.

I’ve often wondered what it’s like for people who have made a life in a foreign country when things go wrong at home

Mixed feelings I guess.

Happy they are out and not in the midst of things but concern for family and friends still there.

In the event of war probably also sadness that the city is being bombarded and won’t be the same again.

I’m obviously just speculating.

He was back there over Xmas. Left on NY eve which was just as the protests were catching fire (in his home region).

But it's as daggers says, very worried for family particularly his brother who's of the age to be out on the streets, and the internet is down.
Similar to when Israel bombed the place earlier last year, and he couldn't contact him for 3 days.

The UK is full of tossers who have 'fled' oppression leaving family behind yet return for a holiday just to check in on how things are going

Hopefully the brave Iranian/Persian people who haven't ran away will be able to free their Country

Then we can send the cowards back 'home' to help rebuild the Country & Society that they actually really don't give a fuck about:

'Morad Alijani, 45, a British-Iranian personal trainer from Guildford, said he had joined the London rally because he was inspired by his 70-year-old mother and father protesting in Iran':unsure::unsure::unsure:

A missive from the ivory tower.

If that's a reference to my work colleague, why do you assume he "fled oppression" ? You literally know nothing about him or why he's here 🙄

It must be calming to live in your simple world, where everything is easy to explain and nicely fits your world view.

At least your first six words were accurate.

Don't expect a response from the so called 'progressives' on here

They like the Iranian Islamist regime because that regime hates Jews
Its worse than simply hating Jew and zionists, they are in bed with the Muslim brotherhood.

Liberal media blackout, hundreds scheduled to hang for wanting freedom.

PEN4, I have faced many forms of evil in my days, many. PEN4 things that your eyes will never see.

This is evil. The liberal hive mind was created for a specific task. To control. Thankfuly for you and I, we are not part of it.

Living inside your head must be utterly exhausting. Are you on any medications?

The truth hurts I know.
Revaluation of judgment will be no surprise.
Many of you on here are closer to death than I.
Some merely days away.
Do you want me to name handles dates and causes ?
Do you want to play with me ?

I have a lot of Iranian friends who would dearly love to go back home but cannot, some live in Ireland some here, you actually have no fucking idea about persecution in that country. One friend when aged 12 had to fill a form in which included a piece on religion, basically you had to say what religion you were , he put none. The next day his father was brought to the school and was told his son must be Muslim or else, the father said I have brought my sons up to think for themselves and if that is what he put then so be it, the son eventually ended up in jail as did another son and they were lucky to escape with their lives. All of them contribute to the country they live in, they have jobs and have bought houses, they also join in with their local community. They would dearly love to go home and look forward to the day it is possible.
You should stop making assumptions about people when you don't know their circumstances and calling people cowards when you know nothing about them is just about what I would expect from you
