Youri started to look like little kid who can't get his own way!! No smiles when he scores, hardly celebrates with his team mate's.
Sorry lad but your hear for a few year's yet so get on with it and enjoy.

Turned down new contract . We will be looking for Creative Midfielder for 20m in January and cash in 80m on Youri in the summer .

Thanks for the FA Cup .

Have I missed something ? After he scored on Saturday he thumped his chest and pointed to the badge. What more do you want ? He is under contract to 2023. He wants to play Champions league; so do I, but I would settle for being in a higher division than F*r*st, the Sheep or Cov.

Nothing to see here, move on.

Yes I think you have missed something! Last year he loved the area his family were settled and everything was fine now dosent want another contract and he doesn't have that smile on his face when playing. Ah yes kissing and pointing to the badge!!!!!I

disagree. he looked very happy saturday, and at full time last night. if you're saying he wasn't all smiles a month ago when we were playing shyte, well..of course. i wouldn't want him to be.

we've not got it confirmed he's turned down a contract - although we were led to believe he was offered one last year, so it wouldn't be a surprise if it was confirmed given the time delay since the offer. lets wait and see. could just be a tactic to get as higher wage as poss, and i don't blame him for that.

Lets be honest, chances are that he will move on. But, is he so important to us that its worth letting him run his contract down, and not release him?

The standard of player that leaves our club is on a different scale to that of 10 years ago. We receive bigger bucks and replace them with a better standard than those of 10 years ago. It's the way of the world. Even the top clubs have this issue.
The good thing for us is that we are operating from a higher base than ever.

Totally agree, my take on this is if he won't sign another contract and wants away let him go for the best money we can get. Move on

I thought he did say only a few weeks ago in an interview that he was open to everything and keeping his options open.
...
Here it is (Sky). That's dated 14th September, so I guess not much has changed or will change until perhaps the January transfer window.

He's an International wanting top flight football at club level, which means CL on a regular basis. All things considered there's as much chance of us making the CL spots this season as there is bnet, or Dickhead, getting COVID-19 jabs.
Unfortunately I can't really see any other outcome than his departure by the end of the summer transfer window.
Which is sad....

Evington I disagree, I think 4th place is very realistic and achievable for us.

For the past couple of years, we’ve been up there looking over our shoulders at the end of the season. The fox being chased, as it were.
Be interesting this year if we are the hounds.

We only have the Bullshit Bollocks Corporation to believe. It will be his agent that is stalling. If he goes we will make money on him then replace him but if he stays he could become a legend. Im not worrying about him because I trust our recruitment people to replace him well if required

BBC merely Quote the “ gossip” . This one is from ‘90 minutes’ .
That’s why it’s called “gossip” in the football section

Well Dags one of the Top Four has got to implode. Liverpool, Man City Chelsea, no chance, Manure may struggle unless they get there individuals into a collective. Otherwise I can't see us making the CL.
EL maybe, as long as our defence is strengthened by the return of JJ before Christmas, and, we lose no major player in the January window.

I think the top 3 is almost guaranteed. The 4th place is up for grabs IMO. There are probably 6+ teams who could get it which doesn’t include manure as long as OGS is there

I think we will lose YT if we do not make the CL but maybe we already have a candidate replacement in KDH. We may(probably) also lose Wilf but with Soumare looking good then it may not be the disaster it once could have been.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City will be the top three, no doubt about that. I saw nothing last Saturday to suggest Man U are better than us. Given the players they have like Ronaldo they should finish forth but the place is up for grabs.

Shame if it’s true, great player who makes the game look easy, hopefully he stays for this season and we don’t sell Youri in the January window, I trust our scouting team to come up with another gem from Europe as I can’t see a player anything like him in the English Leagues…

If he goes to Chelsea, he may fit in there with their style of play. With Liverpool, he has no pace so may not suit Klop. Man City have as good of players, so may only buy as a fill in. Why would he go to United ?

Be nice to see him go abroad just so we won't see him scoring for somebody else kissing their shirt badge.

I think Soumare is earmarked as the long term Youri replacement.
