Given choice
Best Chelsea on Saturday ?
Beat Chelsea on Tuesday ?

Why does OGS , no matter what the score , always look like he’s bored to tears by being at the game ?
I have seen more enthusiasm and passion/ anger from a swede.

Don't be daft. Saturday puts us in the history books. What would the CL be for us ? Probably in the bottom pot for the draw, that would probably give them 2 games against a Euro giant.
It won't be like last time, we will be up against it to get out of the group.

Tend to agree but to be hard headed -
CL attracts players , helps us keep players and of course financially lucrative .

ManChester United were utter dog filth. Dithering and constantly giving the ball away. Henderson pretty much stood aside to allow Salah to score.

Unfortunately winning the Cup but finishing out of the top 4 will lead to a bigger exodus I fear...
Yeah but why do you want top class players?
To actually win trophies or for the club to be a cash cow?
I’d rather win the FA Cuo , that’s the FA CUP !!
and if clubs want to throw millions and millions out way at players who don’t want to be anymore then that’ll do aswell

This is correct. Winning the cup has more romance, but in terms of establishing ourselves as genuine threat to the established order, it's Champions League qualification all day long. Qualifying for the Champions League will attract better players, persuade our best players to stay, and bring in significant extra revenue. Winning the FA Cup will do none of those things.

Think we have to get something at Chelsea as I can’t see Liverpool dropping another point

I don’t believe some of this shit !!
We’ve never won the FA Cup , that’s the FA CUP!!
A lifetime dreaming of it and some think money is more important
You become an established big club by winning things

Will there really be an exodus in this particular summer, with our reputation for charging top dollar for anyone leaving? I wonder.

Losing the cup and out the top 4 is more likely to see an exodus. That said we are not in the 1980's when we had just one top player. Lineker left us severely weakened. Alan Smith followed, and then Gary Mac. Every time we lost our linchpin we struggled. At least with today's squad it's not the end of the world, and we are a far more attractive proposition, particularly for young talent to join us

Well, two of the most important fuckers for us to keep hold of are injured, and another has been bang average after injury. Two others have just signed new contracts which makes it v unlikely that they'll be off. So that helps a bit... (y)

I guarantee you that talented players do not join or remain at clubs because they won the FA Cup the previous season. However, competing in the Champions League is a major advantage when seeking to attract or retain talent. It's really as simple as that.

Obviously I'm desperate for us to win on Saturday. I just think that qualifying for the Champions League again will do more for our long-term future, so I want that even more.

If worst happens 6th is lowest we can finish .
European football guaranteed and avoided the European Conference League

Don't give a shite about the CL.
Every year there's 4 chances of getting in, this is our first FA cup final in over half a century.
FA cup however watered down it's become in the last 20 years is still a must, CL is gravy.

Would embrace the EL more if we actually take it seriously.
Anything like this season and it's a pointless exercise.
