Spot the obsession.

I'd just like to confirm...
Continuous global conflict, inflation, overcrowding, a health system unable to cope, broken borders, people not happy with immigration policy or figures, the destruction of manufacturing, the outsourcing of jobs via ssc's, the lack of democratic control of the Bank of England, knife crime, riots and LCFC's potential demise...

It's all Farage and TR's fault. 👍

Given NF’s earnings, he could probably lend the club some money to buy another striker.

Why not publish all politicians earnings
They are all published but Miseryman has a very unbalanced and unhealthy interest in Nigel Farage (probably because he is the most successful politician of recent years)

Starmer earned nearly £900,000 from sources outside of his job as an MP. David Lammy earned over £700,000 (which included working for 45 different organisations) - I wonder if Miseryman is as concerned for Lammy's constituents as he is for Farage's?

I wouldn't mind reading that, have you got the relevant info to hand.
Thanks in advance

Without labouŕing the Farage point how many MPs use holding companies to draw their salaries? I guess if they are allowed to then most will.

Why did the BBC publish such an in depth report of one person's finances ? Why ? What was the motive behind it ? Bitterness about Brexit? Lefty hatred ?
There is nothing illegal about how he's earned the money.
Just another pot stirring load of shit from the BBC.
If they are obsessed with individuals who earn plenty of money, then perhaps they could start with publishing one of those a bit closer to home.
You'll find Lineker's BBC salary alone is pretty much on a par with NF income.
But they won't upset Sir Gary will they? We all know who calls the shots in that relationship.

But didn't the Guardian do a thorough analysis.....?

Headline numbers here but you can't drill down:

The best graphical presentation of the whole issue is here but it's worth drilling down to the source file which is in 'Read Only .xls' where every entry for all MP's of all Parties is detailed.

It looks like The Guardian did a thorough analysis as you say.
However, your figures are from external parliamentary earnings over the last five years.

No constituency office in Clacton, no opportunity for constituents to set up in-person chats with NF, no replies to any emails from constituents.

Clacton gets what it deserves.

30p Lee will have a word with the majority shareholder NF, before having a word with himself…

“We are paid handsomely for the job we do, and if you need an extra £100,000 a year on top, then you should really be looking for another job.”

I read it. The guy's in top 2% of all reps so it says. I guess it pays well being socialist in all countries.

If you're all still too stupid to believe that any of these self serving pigs are in it for any other reason than their own gains then there's no fucking helping you. How much fucking money did Blair and his missus make, probably the same with Boris, undoubtedly Cameron made a nice nest egg for his family tree, they are all the same. I don't get how you fuckers can't see this!

And then to use this example of how greedy one politician is, but then ignore the fact that your politician is doing exactly the same fucking thing is ridiculous, and pointless.

They are all in for personal gain. Not all of them claim to be men of the people though.
You're on a hiding to nothing if you expect politicians to starve to death in order to prove that they are somehow virtuous or genuine.

Perhaps it's just me, but personally, I couldn't give a toss what someone earns. I'm more interested in what they stand for and whether they are genuine.

The earnings thing, for me, is only problematic if they've been preaching against earning money... And preaching that as a way of getting power, Or if you can see that they've been bought by some interest group and that it's the money that's driving the policy.

I'm just not jealous of people when it comes to money.
