Man City could score

Last season Man City declared after 20 minutes when they were already 4-0 up.

Easy to see them doing the same this time. They do have a massive midweek game against Bayern to consider. Otherwise a 10-0 would not be beyond them.

Said it after shitty palace had 31 shots against us last week, the record will be smashed next week.
Slight saving grace from last week was that Rodger’s won’t be with us , but now need to get rid of any remaining incompetent shit from the training ground, ie, Sadler & stowell.
l think they will now.

They wont go light on us, not with goal difference being relevant in the title race. Anything under 5 would be a surprise.
They should make the next managers official appointment after this game. Let him watch it from the stands and let him observe who he thinks might roll their sleeves up and actually not disgrace the shirt.
No point him having a thumping defeat for his first game in charge , that wouldn't help the cause regarding the very slim chance of stopping up. No manager could stop next week's inevitably, especially with our weak minded bunch of losers.

But surely we can't throw away even a 10% chance of getting anything from the game.

You can get 18-1 on Leicester winning.
I doubt you will see much greater difference between 2 clubs from the same division.
When I say appoint him officially after the game there is nothing to stop him from picking the team and telling them what he wants.
Imo greater than the minute chance of getting anything against MC would be to allow the new managerial bounce in the following game.
We need the feel good factor if we are to have any chance in general and he wont start with that if he's got a stuffing on his record from the first game.
Just a technical thing, but psychologically there could be a more beneficial side to it.

Dont forget 15/2 the draw.
I know it seems very unlikely but defeatist talk is Bodgersesque and has to be quickly shown the red card if we are to have a hope in hell of staying up.
The bookies also make us 4/5 (slightly odds on) to go down so it is far from a certainty.
Not to mention the coconuts.....

I think you maybe missing my point, he can take over and control things but not be officially announced until after the game. Purely to protect any feel good factor we might get from a new manager. Doesn't mean he won't be involved.

I think I know what you mean but a battling defeat could also give us confidence. Just think everything from the previous regime needs binning pronto, especially the negative mindset when playing BCCs.

No ref and linespersons been appointed, however David Lloyd and Dicky Bird are the umpires, just in case of a declaration.

Man City have put in a planning application for an extension..............to the scoreboard.
