Bright boy isn’t he ?
Spot on .
Hope he hasn’t bucked his hip again

Contract until 2023, just 17 games to be clear third in all time appearances behind Graham Cross and Adam Black

And the defence was let down by Kasper
I don't see how you can blame him for either goals. First he made a good save and his defence was slightly on their toes. Second Adams was in the middle of the two centre backs that can't happen.

Kaspar shows a total lack of leadership with his constant poor distribution of a football.
Last night was yet another example and it's allowed to go on and on.
Yes, he's a great shot stopper but he should create a tempo too. He's the fucking Captain.

For all the fantastic service he has given he is really pretty annoying at the moment. His distribution remains sh*te and he constantly puts players under pressure. I get the whole blaming everyone else (not uncommon in goalkeepers) but he should really focus on bringing his best game and focus on not floating passes aimlessly to Tim and Co where they are immediately under pressure.

It's definitely good to see that Maddison seems to be back to his best or at least well on the way. He's been (literally) absent for too long!

Unfortunately though, the season seems to be shaping up as very inconsistent for us. From what I see and read, I think it has started with our injury concerns which have lead to defensive frailties and perhaps a lack of belief and form throughout the team. It's a bit worrying to read that Ndidi now seems to fall prey to (hopefully rare and soon no more) odd gaffes as well.

Clearly though, we have too many important absentees, and when they come back they need a lot of time and games to settle in again and rediscover their form, as we've seen with Ricardo and Barnes (and Maddison, for that matter!!). I'm afraid it'll be similar with JJ and Fofana.

I hope we can muddle through until next year, and that we are hopefully still in the running for international football or even a CL place when the end of the season approaches. Progressing in the Europa League would certainly constitute a confidence booster, too!

I think that's the big one for us this season the Europa League.

Yes he's the captain.

He should lead by example then. Anyway I didn't criticize him for those 2 yesterday, but I wouldn't be happy at work, when the person giving me a bollocking was as culpable as me at making mistakes. Kasper has and still is a very good keeper, but his lack of command in his own area, particularly at set pieces is a weakness of his imo.
Personally I have never agreed with a goalkeeper being a captain. They are not in the best position on the pitch to be barking commands, organising and encouraging the team. A captain imo should be preferably a midfielder or alternatively a central defender. If you think of great leaders, some of the best have been midfielders, Viera, Keane, and Bryan Robson instantly spring to mind.

Daz, has it occurred to you that the defenders are facing their own goal but the keeper is going the other way so it's far easier for him to see the flight of the ball and use his hands to clear it away

Kasper was let down by his defence today.
They were both to blame.
Watch the goal again & see how late Adams reacts to seeing that the ball is actually going to get through to him.
He was clearly obscured by the bodies in front of him & reacted quick.
Kasper saw that ball coming over from the very second it left the lads boot who crossed it & never moved an inch off his line. It’s pathetic how he comes for nothing.

When you’re leaking goals at the rate we are, the keeper has to take some of the blame. I’m ready to give Danny Ward a run, but does Rodgers have the balls to drop, or “rest”, Kasper?

He will in the cup games. But you're just not going to drop one of the best keepers in the country.
