One thing that I've always found odd is people's fascination with US politics in this country.
I honestly couldn't give a shiny shite who is president there. It didn't make the slightest difference to my life when he was president before and nothing has changed in that respect under Biden.
Adopting their issues as our own is bizarre. We don't do it with anywhere else. Black Lives Matter was one such example. What the fuck had that got to do with us? Racism is a completely different thing over there. I've no idea why we decided to make such a big deal of race just because they were.
Why has our media been obsessed with a storm in Florida over the last couple of days? What's it got to do with us?
We don't even have a trade deal with them worth anything. It's just weird.

I predicted in May Trump would win, and i haven't changed my mind. I remember telling buz in 2016 over a curry on Granby st that i thought he might win.
Harris is about as charismatic as john Carey, who also managed to lose an election to an idiot by a landslide in 2004.
This time it will be razor thin and may involve some legal shenanigans, all of which favour Trump as he packed the courts from top to bottom between 2016-2020 with right leaning judges.

I disagree. There are 650 MPs in Britain. Can you really not see any difference between therm all?
I reckon there are about 20% of them who strive for the top table, and if you refer to them then you might be on to something (although I still disagree).
But the majority of them work hard for their local community, for a salary that is not commensurate with the level of responsibility or the shit they have to put up with, and then get lazy labelled "all the same".
I'll do what's best for my family. Hard to believe from the perspective of where you live, but some of Trumps supporters think one of my children shouldn't be allowed to live. See if you can make a smarmy joke out of that.

This why the the American ‘deep state’ hate him with a vengeance, they are also scared of what he might do should he get back in the White House.
The political state will do whatever they can to make sure that does not happen. They will manipulate the vote even more than usual, use lawfare and political machination to try and ensure that Trump does not ‘win’ the White House.
If that does not work, they will kill him.
