Personally I would have loved to get him here back in the summer. The kind of money being talked about was not excessive and he has a decent record.
He showed a bit of what he could do at West Ham, I know he is not that consistent and can sometimes look a bit lightweight but he does score goals and has been round the block once or twice so knows the score.
Haven't seen last nights cock up but such things happen, more so in modern times with teams obsessed with 'playing out'.
