It didn’t need to happen……. if a fan on a message board is calling out the manager, it just needed to be an individual with Top’s ear to say it too.

I hope that the clear out in the summer is ruthless. Let's cut out all the deadwood and those that have already proven they don't have the stomach for a fight.
I don't care if we have team of unknowns so long as they give 100%, they don't sulk, they get stuck in and restore some pride in the shirt again.
We literally have to start from scratch.
There needs to be a complete change of attitude and mindset to get the club clicking again.
This is a dark day, it's over for this lot.
The road back maybe long but we have to start somewhere.
 
That's the problem, we became a Premier league team and got sucked into buying shit players on massive transfer fees and wages. What happened to us not unearthing little gems like Mahrez?

I hope the same but I don't see how we get rid of a lot of the players still under contract. They are all on massive wages, 80k per week seems to be the low point so I don't see a queue of clubs banging on our door. However if we don't get rid the financial consequences are frightening

Exactly.

Clubs will help themselves and we will just have to be grateful to get them off our hands.
We will probably lose millions in transfer fees but it would unburden us from having unsustainable wages in the Championship.

Frankly after this they can all fuck off anyway.
 
The likes of Vestergaard will happily stay. My worry is did Rudkin get them on contracts whereby the wages are reduced if we’re relegated. Knowing how Rudkin does things I doubt it very much
 
Vestergaard will leave its been a disaster transfer for him, even lost his place in Denmark national side.

Oh no he won’t. He’s been offered to 3 clubs this season and has refused the lot. On his wages he’ll sit it out. He doesn’t care about the Danish side. He wasn’t for a WC so he certainly won’t in the future.
