Hi everyone,
For the start of this season I’m planning to run a Last Man Standing competition.
The rules are simple. Choose one team per weekend from the Premier League or the Championship that you think will win their game. Win and you’re through. Draw or lose and you’re out.
Your choices need to be in before kick off of the first game of the weekend.
The following week you have to pick a different team that you think will win. Win and you’re through to pick yet another different team. Draw or lose and you’re out.
It keeps going each week until there is a winner.
There has to be an outright winner. If there are two or more people left and all are knocked out then it rolls over to a brand new game, everyone who wants to pays in again and the pot increases. At that time anyone new to the game has to pay their fair share, a tenner to join.
I will keep a record in Excel and I will check whether you’ve already picked a team.
I’m going to do this for money. £5 in each. A third of the pot will go to Union FS, a third to Bentleys Roof to help with the upkeep of this site, and a third share to the winner.
I can take money by PayPal or by bank transfer. I’ll ask Mac to set up another forum for this alongside Sarge’s competition for people to post their pick each week.
