Do you think youngsters feel the same way nowadays when the team lose a big game, or do they just go home and fire up their xboxSouthwiggy, you’ve put your finger on the reason why all the talk of us gong down the crapper gets up my goat. Walking out of Villa Park that night, it felt like the heart had been ripped out of me. I knew we would have beaten the Geordies in the Final. I also knew that our last chance had gone for years, maybe forever. Winning the Cup this year wasn’t just another bloody pot in the cabinet. It finally stopped the pain that started all those years back.
My lads lived through three relegations before they hit their teens, followed teams put together by Twatlor, Levein, Holloway etc, watched Cup and League defeats big and small, took the ride in and out of League One, grounds all over the country in the Champ and League One. All of that kept Xbox and PS4 in its proper perspective.Do you think youngsters feel the same way nowadays when the team lose a big game, or do they just go home and fire up their xbox
Yes, I was talking about the current crop of youngsters rather than 20 odd years ago!My lads lived through three relegations before they hit their teens, followed teams put together by Twatlor, Levein, Holloway etc, watched Cup and League defeats big and small, took the ride in and out of League One, grounds all over the country in the Champ and League One. My lads are still in their early twenties (having got on the crazy ride when they were small kids). What age group exactly are you looking to pigeon hole? Five year olds? Ten?Yes, I was talking about the current crop of youngsters rather than 20 odd years ago!
They said there was 45,000 Leicester fans at Villa Park that night.Probably the best ever turnout by LCFC fans on one stand, The Holte End was rammed with Blue and White.
