Keep The Faith Soulie Tunes

My daughter and a few of her mates are going to this on Saturday. 11.00 til 11.00. They've been a bit wild in time and relive it all a few times a year, she as 3 spare tickets as they brought 3 but her mate runs events so as sorted them VIP tickets with passes. Wound her up as its Joclyn Brown me and her mam would buy them😃

Went to a friends funeral yesterday and the tune she had played as we walked in was this, it really set a nice tone to the sad event. The carried the coffin out to "young hearts run free". It all sort of reminded us of shared memories through music.

That’s very touching. Condolences Bnet.

Levi was good too
l think my favourite is the Keeper of the Castle album, when they left Motown.
Still Waters is my SIL's all time favourite song.

Running back and forth, is possibly my favourite 4 Tops track but it changes really. Edited a year after this post - Running back and Forth is obviously Edwin Star (I'm a twat)

Can anyone help me on 2 things ?

My grandad took me to Forest/Leicester game in 1972, on his car radio Betty Wright's Where is the Love came on. It was very odd to hear a Northern tune on normal radio and it stayed with me. The thing is, it wasn't released until 1974 apparently, it couldn't have been another year as we didn't play them again until 1977, as this confirmed that I'm mad ?

Second, l heard an Aretha track yesterday which was a mix up of Wonderful and Until You Come Back to Me, but l can't find it anywhere ?

I can’t explain it. It was released in 1974 as a single and came from an album also released that year. Could it have been The Clean Up Woman you heard.

Is it this J J Jackson remix?
