He doesn’t get to be that good at it without constant practice LG. He mustn’t let his standards drop 😊

Not sure where he would find any mud on todays pitches ..must take all of a nano second to clean players boots these days. like to see him cope with the Western Park pitches circa 1970 real mud baths they were as any on here who played on them will testify....don't know they're born these days:)

Well he does it all the time. These days with no crowds you can hear him kicking the post all the time before he takes a goal kick.
 
I think it's just one of them habits of a lifetime, just like every player appeals for a throw in, corner, or goal kick etc even though they know it's not.
